The Lost Kitchen was opened by Erin French in 2014 in Freedom, Maine, and continues today as a restaurant, small inn, farm shop, and mill. A beautiful place to lose yourself in the magic of nature around you, TLK is a place where time stands still, where everything is beautifully and thoughtfully chosen and prepared, and where you can actually, finally, drop your shoulders and breathe. Reservations are very unusual; they are done only by postcards, and if yours is pulled, they will call you to arrange a dinner date during their season that runs from May to October. But if you happen to find yourself up in Freedom, Maine, a pop-in visit to TLK is magical.
