RxART is a New York–based nonprofit organization that harnesses the transformative power of contemporary visual art to improve healthcare environments for children. Founded in 2000, RxART partners with leading artists to create site-specific, museum-quality installations in pediatric hospitals—turning sterile, stressful spaces into engaging, uplifting environments designed to comfort, inspire, and promote emotional well-being for young patients, their families, and caregivers. These art projects are produced at no cost to the hospitals and have been realized in numerous cities across the United States, reflecting the organization’s mission to humanize healthcare through creativity and compassion.
