Tucked away in a cosy, hidden corner, the restaurant serves delicious Tuscan and Florentine dishes to the locals and tourists in the know (and at affordable prices, considering the quality and location). Ordering the pear pasta and bistecca Fiorentina are an absolute must.
The quality for the tavern comes first, in fact using only raw vegetables into cuisine. The tradition is honored by the early classics like ribollita, pasta e fagioli, Mugello, tortelli vegetable minestrone, lasagna and tagliolini with truffles. While sea bass, turbot, squid, cuttlefish, Octopus, shrimp can be found only if they arrive fresh from the market. For dessert you can choose from traditional lawn cantucci and vin santo, ice cream, cakes and dessert puddings simple and genuine and always homemade. From March to November you can eat outside on a nice terrace surrounded by plants and flowers, antique shops, art studios, and workshops.
